My senior thesis, 'Great Expirations,' developed from the idea that everything in our lives expires. Our food, our trends, our relationships, our minds, our bodies. And in order to make the most of these expiration dates it is important to be mindful.
Great Expirations further developed into an audit of today's 'Mindfulness' industry, becoming a product line named, 'Mindful.' The line is made up of a juice cleanse, supplements and patches—products that are commonly used in other industries as quick-fixes for people problems and ailments. By reading further into the packaging, however, the consumer learns that these products are a hoax—that mindfulness (and many other problems our society faces) can't be achieved with a quick-fix. Rather, we should live with intention, be awake to the experience, and be mindful.

A full brand and corporate identity manual were developed as well as supplemental printed and digital materials of which a few are shown here.
