I discovered a love for design and creativity at a young age, often covering my bedroom floor in a clutter of photos, pipe-cleaners, stamps, paint, magazines, you-name-it. Once I figured out that a version of this mess I loved making could actually be pursued in some form of a degree, I set off for the University of Minnesota where I earned my BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Mass Communication.

After all this time, I still have an appreciation for a fine mess, especially a good collage (design trend prediction for 2024 is they’re coming back. my inner child is screaming), but I find myself becoming increasingly more interested in the bigger picture of design. Between digital and print communication, how can we create elevated user experiences that thrive in our fast-paced world? Just like any designer’s current project at hand, the answer to that question is always a work in progress.

Thus far, I’ve spent time designing for a variety of brands from Film to Fitness, and Health Care to Hawaiian vacation rentals. Creating an enticing and delicious holistic-brand-experience is what I love most about design. Opening up an instagram feed that’s curated as well as the Met makes my heart skip a beat. Scrolling through a site with clear, flawless UX & UI makes my fingertips tingle. And I love helping brands make that possible for themselves.
