I discovered my love for art and design at a young age, often covering my bedroom floor in a clutter of craft supplies. When I discovered I could turn that creative curiosity into a “career,” I set off to pursue a BFA in Graphic Design at the University of Minnesota.

It was there that I discovered my passion for yoga and movement, regularly attending a variety of fitness classes at the Recreation and Wellness center and even landing an internship as a graphic designer on their marketing team. Upon graduation from UMN, I jumped at the chance to fly across the country for a new internship in Portland, OR. PDX stole my heart so I laid down some roots, designing for a major health care brand from 9-5 and working toward my 200-hr RYT in my spare time. I completed my yoga teacher training with Corepower Yoga in 2017 and have since taught many different styles of yoga at a variety of studios.

In October of 2018, I decided to leave my corporate job, hop on a one-way flight to Hawaii and see where my sights (and all my $avings) could take me. I ended up spending the better part of the next two years traveling to over 20 countries. Peep my travel page to check out some highlights of my adventures.

Fast forward to April of 2020 and the state of the world so kindly brought me back to my home state of Wisconsin, where it took me a while to readjust to life in one place. Eventually I regrew my roots in Madison where you can find me working as an art director for a local workwear company during the week. On the weekends you might spot me running around searching for the best coffee and donuts in town. Join me?
